The USDA has revised its Plant Hardiness Zone Map for 2012 to correspond with climatic changes. If you are as confused as I am, you might like to visit the USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Website to find the current hardiness zone where you live. If the colors on the map and key code are difficult to see, all you have to do is enter your zip code, and your hardiness zone will pop up. Gardens in the Wood of Grassy Creek is officially in Zone 6b as of 2012. Good to know.
