Growing only to about six inches, Scabiosa japonica "Blue Diamonds" is the perfect choice for the front of the border or a coveted spot in the rock garden.  Scabiosa "Blue Diamonds" may be short in stature, but this little pincushion flower makes up for it by being such a work horse and supplying soft, lavender/blue flowers all summer long.  "Blue Diamonds" appreciates full sun/partial shade and well-drained soil in  Zones 4-9.  Quarts.
