Visitors to my garden have always loved Gooseneck Loosestrife. Its graceful, pristine white blooms really do remind one of a goose's neck, and when there are masses of flowers blooming at the same time, it is a beautiful sight. The plants grow to three feet high and the gentle bending blooms, up to eight inches long, begin to wow you in mid-summer. Don't let those graceful blooms fool you - Gooseneck Loosestrife is a "tough old bird" and can withstand just about any kind of soil and light. Be forewarned that Lysimachia clethroides is a spreader, so it needs room to roam, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Sun. Zones 4-8. Quarts.
