Jasminum beesianum (Pink Flowering Jasmine)
Jasminum beesianum, a pink flowering perennial Jasmine from China, is covered in medium pink, lightly scented flowers in early summer. Oh, what a tangled web it weaves, too, which makes it difficult to cut for putting into vases, but it is ideal for climbing trellises, arbors, and fences. This pink flowering Jasmine grows in sun to part shade and seems to prefer sheltered spots. Although Jasminum beesianum is recommended for Zones 7 and above, I have grown it in Zone 6 for at least 10 years without protection. (Photo from Wiki Commons). Zones 6-10.
