Buddleia lindleyana (Weeping Butterfly Bush) is not what you usually think of when butterfly bushes come to mind.  Everything is different about this Chinese native:  the foliage is smaller; its growing habit has more of a spreading nature, rather than upright, and it's shorter; and its long, lavender/red blooms are pendulous, earning it the name "weeping butterfly bush."  There is nothing to weep about with Buddleia lindleyana in the garden, however, because it adds color and interest in abundance.  Full sun in Zones 3-9.   Quarts.
